Kansas City covered in Red for Super Bowl Appearance in the Last 50 Years (VIDEO)
Kansas City Paints the town Red in preparation for the super bowl LIV.
50 Years in the Making Super Bowl and the Kansas City Chiefs are Super Bowl ready. The chiefs are set to take on the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday in Miami. Although we can’t be in Miami, we are making our presence known in Kansas City. Kansas City being excited is the understatement of the year.
Union Station, Power and Light, and the Kaufman Center, are some of my favorite decor spots around KC. If you want an amazing view of the entire downtown, be sure to check out the World War I monument during sunset.
Check out the video to get hype for Sunday and the first All Red Everything Super Bowl.
I’ll go through all the photo spots from the video so you can replicate it next year!
The first thing you will notice is the amazing design of this building. This is a center for music, theatre, dance, and your photographers favorite photo op spot. They are widely considered one of the most beautiful concert halls in the world and I would have to agree.
This is my favorite place in Kansas City. Bars, restaurants, music, hotels. If you are from out of town, this is a great place to start your evening for some food and drinks. Don’t forget to hop on the trolley and take a stroll down to Union Station.
Let me start by saying, they have a massive T-Rex outside. What more do you need to know? This is a 100 year old building that includes a train station, post office, cafe, hallmark, and more. Another one of your photographers favorite places to take engagement photos. Ok i’ve done it too.
Head upstairs to get a view of the entire venue, and do some people watching.
Life tip: Don’t forget if you look at a bunch of people it is people watching, if you watch one person, it’s stalking.
I’m not the biggest beer drinker, but I have to admit, they make some amazing beer. They are one of the largest speciality breweries around the entire midwest. Great place for a tour, a work outing or to check out the sunset over downtown and the Kansas City Skyline.
This is the craziest place to watch a game. My goodness. They have a lot of great specials throughout the week and the waitress said the pizza was a 6/10.
This is where I will be watching the game on Sunday.
Here’s some info about the sign. I don’t know much about it, but I know that it’s cool and it has those amazing red and gold colors shining bright.
Who doesn’t need a flag? Everybody needs a good flag
Great place to watch a concert and head over to Power and Light for some food and drinks.
